"A Positive Contribution"

Ephesians 4:28

Every month when I receive my bank statement, there is a summary which shows how much I deposited into my bank account and how much I withdrew.   Some months I save more than I spend, some months it is the other way around.   It occurs to me that my life is that way too.  There are periods of time when it seems I am making a positive contribution into my corner of the world; and times when it seems I am being more of a drain.  All I have to do to keep my bank statement “in the black” is to not spend more than I deposit.  How do I become a person who makes a positive contribution in life?
