The day-to-day operation of the church is largely handled by the person who types everything, files all the important documents, and basically keeps the place organized.   We call her our “secretary,” but Amy Blagg is really more of an Office Manager than secretary.   She keeps the place running smoothly!

The “business” of our church is managed on several different levels.

Board of Directors

Most day-to-day decisions are handled by our Board of Directors.   There are currently 15 members of the Board of Directors.   Danny Fulton is  the Chairman of the Board.  The Board of Directors generally meets once a quarter.

Deacons

Seven of the members of the Board of Directors also serve as “Deacons.”   The Deacons are individuals we consider to be key spiritual leaders in the church who also help minister to the various spiritual needs of the congregation.   Suellen Holtzman is currently the Chairperson of the Deacons.  The Deacons generally meet once a month.

Other Officers and Ministry positions

We have a variety of  individuals who help with different aspects of our church’s ministry, but there are too many to list them all here.  If you are interested in a particular ministry (children, youth, women, men, camping, sunday school, vacation Bible school, missions, music, library, memorial funds, etc.), feel free to contact us and we’ll see what we can do to put you in touch with the right people!

Business Meetings 

We have a quarterly business meeting in which we present the basic business of the church before the congregation at large.   The quarterly business meetings are held in March, June, September and December of each year.
